Research Specifics

I've decided that I'm going to do a basic research with several case studies to support the research. I'm calling my portion of the project, "German Hollywood Dreams". The research I've done so far, proved my initial theory that Berlin would be considered Germany's Hollywood. Major casting agencies, production companies and editing firms exist throughout Berlin. I'd like to go more in depth into what it takes to make it as an actor in Germany, and if American celebrity has any effect on the aspirations of German actors. The majority of my research will be through video documentation doing interviews, observations, etc. I'll try to see what resources are available to aspiring actors such as acting classes, graduate school programs such as the ones in the US, open calls and things of that sort. My group has come up with a much more concise idea of what we want to do with our overall presentation and I feel like my concept serves as a glue that ties all of us together.
